A little bit about Skip Hire Isleworth.
Believe it or not, but Skip Hire Isleworth’s CEO Andy McCarthy started his working life as a refuse collector, riding the local council wagon around London’s streets to collect bin bags and waste from the residents. After ten years he decided he could do even more to remove waste from the capital’s roads, so after a short stint in business school – attending at night in order to qualify – in 2007 he set up the company he now heads.
In just ten years, Skip Hire Isleworth has grown to become a market leader in waste collection and treatment.
Andy’s business venture had small beginnings: he had two members of staff and one of them was himself. Working from a small yard in a run-down west London industrial estate, his professionalism, commitment to customer service and competitive prices meant he was soon looking for larger space – and a lot more staff.
Today, Skip Hire Isleworth boasts more than forty full-time employees, a hi-tech distribution centre and several specialist departments dedicated to advancing environmental issues and promoting green living across the west of the UK capital.
With a vast range of skips for hire, expert staff and a hugely professional operations arm that offers skip delivery, hazardous waste removal, house/garden/business clearance, coupled with our very own licensed waste transfer station, we are one of London’s leading lights in the waste business.
A message from our CEO…… “The world is small and getting smaller, and I don’t want things to get worse because of our inefficient handling of waste. This is why I formed Skip Hire Isleworth: to clean up our corner of the UK’s capital city, and to help promote environmentally-conscious attitudes to waste and its management.”Andy McCarthy
